Key Terms: Siemens NX, CAD, CAE, FEA, Optimization

In my final year at Georgia Tech, I took the course ME 4042: Interactive CAD & CAE and learned how to use Siemens NX. The final project was to model a complex machine. My group chose to recreate a fighter jet, a Sukhoi 57. My two teammates designed the nose gear and engine subassemblies. I designed the wing subassembly and created the final assembly with rendering. Afterwards, the conducted engineering analysis on each of the components including static yield, buckling, and thermal stresses to ensure the model would be able to withstand forces during flight and landing.
