Hi, I’m Sana!

I’m a grad student at Carnegie Mellon working towards my Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. I just earned my Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech in May 2024.

Currently, I’m doing research on the application and control of mobile manipulators at the CERLAB. My undergraduate research experiences involved underwater robots and multi-material additive manufacturing.

I’ve spent a lot of time in makerspaces as a student worker during both of my college experiences. Being able to help people with their projects has given me a lot of hands on experience with rapid prototyping and the ideation process. It also means I have a lot of fun experimenting and making things for myself and others. Right now, I’m trying to carve a pair of wooden shoes.

I’m passionate about robotics and ultimately want to use engineering to make a positive impact on the world.
